Ryan’s Steak Sauce

A simple but tasty steak sauce from scratch with sliced mushrooms which will impress even the toughest steak customer.


3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
five to six sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
liquid smoke to taste.
2 teaspoons of cornstarch


Boil five minutes.
Reduce heat to simmer
Add 2 teaspoons of cornstarch and stir until thickened, about 15 minutes.
